The Hit Zone

So, I posted a picture of The Hit Zone on my last post, and I said I would blog more about it later. The Hit Zone is going to be a really cool place! It will be a place for baseball and softball players to come work on their skills! There will be 4 indoor cages with 2 pitching machines, L-Screens, batting tees etc. I am pretty excited for this to open because Snyder doesn't have anything like it. So, we will see what happens! Dad and Michael have painted the walls, and they worked on laying turf this past Sunday. It was so cool to watch them lay it. The turf was SUPER heavy, and it took a lot of guys to even roll it out. Here are some pictures of the progress so far.

This looks awesome Courtney! I will have to tell Wes about it.
I saw where you are teaching at Cooper, Wes's cousin's husband is the athletic director at Cooper, John Windham. I even have some Cooper Pirates tshirts from when we lived in Lubbock. Cooper is a great school district!

Hi Courtney, I linked to your blog via Sarah's. I'm so excited you are almost finished with school. We need more Christian teachers that are enthusiastic about providing children with a safe haven in the hectic world. School is often the only place they have a rest from the chaos. I'm proud of you!
