Well, today is the day that I officially "graduate" from college. I decided not to walk at the graduation ceremony, so it really hasn't hit me yet that I am done with college. A lot of people have given me a hard time for not walking, but I just didn't want to. I have been to 4 high school graduation ceremonies in a row, and we finally get a break this year, so I just didn't want to do it. Plus, I wanted ALL my family to be there to watch. My dad's father just had knee replacement surgery, and I didn't know how easy of a trip that would be for him. Then, my Nana doesn't like traveling anymore and the whole crowd thing would have gotten her all sorts of confused, so we are just going to have a big family dinner/party tomorrow night to celebrate mine and Ali's graduation from cosmetology school. Plus, I HATE those dumb caps you have to wear!!College was not an easy thing for me. I have contemplated quitting many of times. I am so glad that I am done, and I can now say that I am a GRADUATE!!

good for you! and your sister too. have fun celebrating with your family- you deserve it! we are having a hard enough time getting our kids through high school, so graduating from college is HUGE in my eyes.
i YELLED FOR YOU WHEN YOU WOULD HAVE WALKED! I am so proud of you! You will be a great teacher, and a better wife and mother for completing this challenge in life! Good for you CO!
