This past weekend I got to go to Rockdale/Austin to watch Hunt play baseball and to go shopping! :) I left school on Friday around 4 and headed to Snyder where I met up with my dad. My mom and Ali had already gone down there on Thursday with my aunt and uncle, so it was just dad and me on Friday night. We got to Rockdale around 11.3o or so. On Saturday, we went to Austin (which was about an hour away from Rockdale) because they didn't play until 5.30 Saturday night. Then, after their game, we headed back home, and got to Snyder around 2 in the morning. I was exhausted after that quick trip! :) Here are some pictures from the adventure...

One of my favorite restaurants of all time is the Hula Hut that is on Lake Austin. It is a cross in Mexican and Hawaiian foods. The atmosphere is AWESOME especially in the summer when you can sit out on the deck and watch boats go by on the water. I got a Hawaiian style grilled chicken sandwich--includes grilled pineapple, bacon, and green chile. Fattening...probably so, but it is so worth it! :)
